All sales comply with the Distance Selling (Jersey) Law 2007.

These terms and conditions shall apply to all orders placed through the website of Rivoli Limited, www.rivolijewellers.com, (the “Website”), via the telephone (01534 601930 / 01534 722904) or via email to [email protected]. Placing an order with us indicates your acceptance of our terms and conditions.

1. About Rivoli Limited
Rivoli Jewellers in an independent family owned jewellers in Jersey, Channel Islands. We have two shops in Jersey, Rivoli Jewellers, 41/43 King Street, St Helier Jersey JE2 4WF and a Swarovski Boutique situated at 21 King Street, St Helier, Jersey JE2 4WF.

2. Placing an Order
When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an email to confirm that we have received your order.

The goods and prices on our Website are subject to change without notice. You will be charged the price displayed on the Website or on your order confirmation at the time of order. In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a major pricing mistake, we will advise you of this. We will offer you a substitute or the opportunity to purchase the product at the correct price.

3. Availability of Goods
If the goods that you ordered are not available within 2 days of your order we will notify you of a revised delivery date. If the revised delivery date is not acceptable to you a full refund will be made. Under exceptional circumstances we may withdraw the purchase agreement even if we have confirmed acceptance of your order. If we withdraw from the purchase agreement we will inform you of this and will refund the consideration already paid by you for these goods.

4. Warranties and After Sales Care
Rivoli Limited will honour the warranties provided by all suppliers. As an official retailer of many premium brands we are aware that after sales service and care is vital.

5. Price and Additional Costs 
As a low tax and VAT free island, Jersey is an ideal place to shop. All our prices online are VAT Free and Duty Free and as such will be 20% less that the UK RRP (including VAT).

Customers in the UK will not incur any additional taxes on any products purchased from Rivoli Limited. The total amount of your order, including all postage and cost such as packaging and delivery is displayed on the final screen of the online check out and on your order confirmation. Customers in Jersey will be charged 5% GST, this will be added at the check out.

Postage costs will be charged at the time of checkout.

6. Delivery and Reservation of Title
The goods will be delivered to the delivery address stated by you by a delivery service appointed by Rivoli Limited. We will make every effort to deliver the goods by the date you have requested, but we cannot make a binding statement on this. We aim to deliver all goods in 5-working days. The goods remain the property of Rivoli Limited until we have received full payment.

7. Cancellations and Returns
This policy does not apply to the following goods which are exempt once they have been received by the customer.

o Pierced Earrings

o Goods which have been made to the customers own specification such as engraving or sizing (where the product cannot be returned to its original state).

You can cancel your purchase at any time up to 7 working days after the day of delivery. To do this, please email or write to us at 41/43 King Street, St Helier, Jersey JE2 4WF, [email protected]. You do not have to give a reason for cancellation; however a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.

If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage and include all original packaging, guarantees, warranties etc that may have been inside the box. Postage charges incurred when  returning the items will not be refunded.

If you fail to return the goods within a reasonable timescale, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.

This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights – for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

8. Security
Rivoli Jewellers operates a secure e-commerce website. During the purchase process credit card details are entered on a secure page and are transferred using SSL. We also accept 3D Secure transactions.

9. Privacy
Rivoli Jewellers promise to meet the recognised standards of personal privacy protection such as complying with the requirements of the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005. This site's Web Server/Internet Service Provider (ISP) uses cookies for collecting user information for system administration of the Web server only. We do  not collect, hold or further process any information about individuals that may visit this site. This Privacy Policy Statement only relates to this site www.rivolijewellers.co.uk and does not necessarily extend to any linked external or internal Internet/Intranet sites as these sites should have their own relevant Privacy Policy Statements included. Personal Information Collection Statement (PICS): Information we collect about you will not be disclosed to any third party without your prior consent or the requestors' demonstrated legal authority to receive it.You have the right to access your information at anytime to check whether it is accurate and up to date.
